OMG!!! Am I dreaming.... or is it just a dream coming true?????

Well, now that it´s officially announced I know that it´s for real!!!!

Yes!!! I´m on the Pink Paislee Design Team for 2012!!!

 

Wow! I´m so so very excited about this amazing opportunity and so happy that I finally can tell you all about it!!! Oh, I had to pinch myself when I received an email from Rebecca asking if I would like to join  the team for the upcoming year.

What??? Are you kidding? YES YES YES!!!!

I ALWAYS have dreamed about Pink Paislee.... I adore each product released by them.. so, girls, you can imagine how thrilled I am!

I´m so full of  expectations and I hope that 2012 will be a great year for me, even better than 2011!!!

Thanks for letting me share this great news with you my adorable readers!!!

Congrats to all  the other amazing ladies on the team - some of them are my friends! So it will be a pleasure to join the Pink Paislee family!

Our theme this time is New year's Eve. We would like you to journal about your feelings around this time of year, or tell us about your most memorable New Year's Eve. Where were you? Who were you with? What did you do? Why is this one memorable? Note: the photo that you use for this challenge does not have to necessarily be from New Years Eve. For example, if you spent New Years Eve with your family you can have a photo of your family taken ANY time of the year.

Remember that you are allowed to also create a card or altered project based on thissketch and instead of the journalling criteria you need to usea quote.

You must combine our journalling criteria/theme with this sketch.

We´re spending our holiday break at the beach!

My country is so beautiful and irresistible... This time we´re visiting Porto de Galinhas and we´re having a blast here, taking a good swin in its the natural pools!

 

 

 

 

 

Flickr Friends at Basic Grey blog

Hi everybody

Each month, Basic Grey provides a theme for you to use on your projects and then upload to its flickr pool.  At the end of each month, they select a few of their favorites to post on its blog.

The theme for this month was “stitching” and was inspired by the Nordic Holiday collection.  Many of the papers in the collection include faux stitching, there are stitched buttons and even a stamp with a stitched greeting. 

Here´s my take:

I used the Nordic Holiday collection in my layout taking advantage on the cross stitching patterns that perfectly matched with the stitching I incorporated to my page inspired by the challenge".

Olá pessoal.

É inevitável. O ano vai chegando ao fim e lá vamos nós fazer reflexões. O que valeu a pena? O que marcou? O que queremos para o ano vindouro? Resoluções para o Ano Novo.

E dentre os trabalhos de scrap? O que é mais significativo dentre tanta coisa produzida?

Fiz uma seleção de layouts neste post pra vocês saberem aquilo que me marcou por algum motivo... porque experimentei algo novo... porque ficou bonito... porque gosto do momento... enfim... layouts que tem um significado especial para mim!

2011 foi um ano maravilhoso na minha vida! Espero que 2012 não fique atrás!!!

 É Natal!!!

A magia está em todos os cantos...

Apesar do calor, tudo tem um clima de luzes e festa... me lembro com saudades do melhor Natal que já passei em toda minha vida...

Claro que eu era ainda criança, pois o Natal é mágico mesmo somente para as crianças!

Passamos dias costurando botinhas e preparando os doces que o bom velhinho viria retirar de nossa árvore... Na véspera, fizeram-nos esperar por detrás de uma janelinha e lá veio ele tocando seu sino com um saco enorme... não me lembro bem o que aconteceu... só sei que foi maravilhoso! Foi a única vez que ele apareceu "de verdade" nos nossos Natais e deixou algum presente para todos nós... eu e meus primos...

Foi embora levando as botinhas em seu saco e deixou saudades!

Minha filha passou o dia angustiada com todos os preparativos, pois ela adora tudo relacionado ao Natal. Pediu muito para ver o Papai Noel em pessoa"... foi um desejo que não realizamos... uma pena... pois ainda me lembro com lágrimas nos olhos de como era bom acreditar de verdade que ele esteve lá....

De qualquer forma, estivemos juntos e celebramos como deve ser... com a família... e por aqui não faltou a magia de Oz e das fadas e elfos!
