In a Scrap of Paper

Cherish layout

Hi everyone!

Today I have a new layout to share with you.

I´ve used a mix of Prima´s Pixie Glen papers, My Minds Eye Lost & Found 2 and  Lily Bee Head over Heals to create this layout.

I love this picture of my daughter wearing a rain coat with an adorable chinese bamboo umbrella and I thought that Pixie Glen´s sweet patterns (which includes an umbrella) where just perfect to portray this moment but of course I just had to add a little bit of this and a little bit of that happy contrasting colors as you can see below.

 

 

 I have also used an Imaginarium Design phrase chipboard as a title.

Hoje estou por aqui mostrando um novo layout em que usei uma foto de minha filha com uma sombrinha chinesa fofa.

Essa sombrinha me lembrou os desenhos adoráveis dos papéis Pixie Glen da Prima e os misturei com outras coisinhas para criar o layout acima!

Uma delícia criar de forma livre como fiz acima, me valendo de uma foto e de umas técnicas que queria testar!

Valentine´s Angel number 4

Hi everyone!

Hope you´re all having a lovely Sunday!

Don´t you love the possibility to stay at home with your family, relaxing while creating a bit?

Well, I do!

I continue creating all things related to Valentine´s day and today´s layout is dedicated to this lil´ angel... my niece Maitê, a girl who is as sweet as honey.

 

In the detail you can see that I used a chipboard from Imaginarium Designs as a titlle (ID0026 RRP)

  

 And also this inspirational butterfly

 

I could finally put my hands (and my scissors) on these gorgeous Scrap Cake papers designed by Karola Witczak  and they are even better than I was imagining. I´m in love with the soft colors!

Olá pessoal!

Espero que estejam tendo um agradável domingo junto à família, descansando ou criando. É o que estou fazendo!

Passei por aqui hoje para mostrar mais um layout da minha série "Anjos em minha vida"  e desta vez a homenagem é feita à pequena Maitê, minha sobrinha que é doce como mel!

 Para esta página usei vários chipboards da marca australiana Imaginarium Designs, que me patrocina, e também papéis da Scrap Cake e segui a linha dos tons pastéis. Houve um tempo que eu só fazia scrap com cores fortes, mas hoje, não mais. Estou buscando expandir meus horizontes e aproveitando cada camadinha deste universo dos tons suaves.

 É preciso sempre buscar renovação no scrap para que aquilo que mais se gosta de fazer continue sempre um prazer.

Love is defined as a deep, tender, an ineffable feeling of affection toward a person.

But when words can´t describe something efficiently, maybe a layout can...

 

 

 

 

I wanted to portray this feeling towards her simply as an explosion of happiness and colors because that´s exactly how I feel.

O post de hoje continua inspirado pelo amor, pela alegria, pelas cores e pelo movimento!

É tão bom ter o scrap para traduzir minhas emoções como nenhuma outra linguagem até hoje foi capaz.

De fato, existem alguns sentimentos que são inefáveis, não podem ser explicados a contento com palavras.

O amor é isso, uma emoção inefável que se sente por alguém.

Por isso e porque não existe p/ mim nada melhor pra retratar por meio do scrap do que meu sentimentos mais profundos é que me valho da alegria das cores e das tintas.

Essa explosão de alegria é justamente a tradução do amor que sinto por ela!
