Hi everyone!
Today I have some Basic Grey DT work to share with you!
First thing I would like to tell you is that a new Flickr Friend challenge is up at Basic Grey blog and it´s all about incorporating purple to a project!
Each month Basic Grey provides a theme for you to use on your projects and then upload to its flickr pool. At the end of each month, they select a few of their favorites to post on its blog.
Here´s my take:
It was easy to incorporate purple to my layout because Basic Grey has some gorgeous purple patterned paper! After adding some layers of these papers, I also have decided to include some purple inks to my layout in order to obtain contrast and interest. I shaded the "What´s Up" clouds and banners cutouts with Pan Pastels and a purple marker and finished up by adding a few embellishments.

Before you go, there´s one more thing I´d like to share with you today.
It´s just a layout that I´ve created to another BG blog challenge that it´s called "use it! ". For this special post, basically Basic Grey designers are chalenged to use a product that some crafters might find difficult to use.
For the post that went live at the blog last week, I was challenged to use at least a 6″ x 12″ piece of the floral side of the Dozen Roses paper from the Kissing Booth collection. And below is what I did:
When I started creating this layout I was looking for something that could neutralize a bit the patterns on the Dozen Roses paper. After adding a 6 X 12 inches piece of that paper to my background, though, I decided to do the opposite and to explore those pretty roses. So, I started doodling and couldn´t stop doing it! That was a great solution to explore those patterns - to play with them a little!

My Godness, Larissa, you are soooo creative!
