A página ficou colorida e cheia de recortes como proporcionava a coleção e seguiu o tema "adorable" do título.

Milk Carton Tote

Hi everyone!

We´re having another amazing inspirational week at Pink Paislee blog in which we have many different creative gift wrap ideas to share with you.

I was in charge of today´s post.

There is nothing nicer than receiving presents beautifully packaged. Making your own gift wrap is ideal to enrich the emotions of small gifts and that is why I prepared something special and a little different!

This is a milk carton tote, decorated with the Prairie Hill line by Pink Paislee.

 

You can easily assemble a creative box by using a template. That´s what I did here. I used a Silhouette template and have cut and fold the papers to assemlbe these 3D boxes that you can customize as you wish.

 

In my case, I wanted to do something rustic as the milk cartons idea and therefore included some pieces of burlap, trims and a touch of gesso to customize my pieces.

Matryoshkas Easter eggs

Hi all!

Today at Pink Paislee blog I invite you to create something meaningful just in time for the Easter celebration - this cute matryoshkas Easter eggs set:

 By definition, a set of matryoshkas consists of “a wooden figure which separates, top from bottom, to reveal a smaller figure of the same sort inside, which has, in turn, another figure inside of it, and so on”. Instead of a wooden figure, I prepared for you a set of 3-D paper matryoshkas using “She Art” and “Spring Jubilee” lines by Pink Paislee.

 Easter eggs are meaningful. They are symbols of renewed life and hope. When I put together these 3-D paper eggs with the powerful messages that I found in the “She Art” collection it was almost like the dolls, from the bigger to the smallest, was gaining life!

I used the same template to create and mold each one. I just had to resize it and then, after molding my eggs and painting the dolls´ faces, I embellished  them with some butterflies cut outs  and words like “she left her fears behind”, “She knew she was loved” or “she dared to dream” using “She Art” and “Spring Jubilee” lines by Pink Paislee.

 You can open each of these matryoshkas eggs to insert the smaller dolls.

A Páscoa está chegando e a Pink Paislee dedica esta semana a projetos de primavera e Páscoa. Hoje fiz uma postagem por lá para  a qual preparei  um projeto especial - ovos de Páscoa matryoshkas.

Um projeto cheio de significados, já que uni o símbolo de renovação da vida dos ovos de Páscoa às mensagens da coleção "She Art".

Cada uma dessas bonecas foi feita usando a mesma máscara, sempre diminuída de cerca de 25 %.

Querem saber como fazê-las?

Color Crush

We´re having a special week at Pink Paislee - we´re showing projects inspired by an awesome color combo:

Today was my turn to share with you how this color combo inspired me to create the layout below:

 Color combos are very useful. They allow us to be more creative.

That´s true. When we create, we tend to get into some color ruts and choose the same basic color combo, but the inspiration of a new color combination like this one brings us something new.

For instance, I started creating a layout by gathering everything I had on my stash that matched the color combo: the Nantucket line, some Butterfly Garden and Vintage Vogue papers with a touch of the Old School collection. As I couldn´t find papers that matched all the colors, I decided to use some inks, sprays,  art mediums, stamps  and the Mistable line and the creative journey simply led me to a textured layout.
