C`est Magnifique sketch challenge

Welcome to February everyone!

There´s a new sketch challenge at C´est Magnifique blog.

 Here´s this month´s sketch created by Michele Singh:

 

This sketch features the lovely Blue Fern Frame chipboard that is on C´est Magnifique February kit.

I have created one sample usin this beautiful sketch and C´est Magnifique February kit, "The Royal Tea Party".

Here it is:

 

Inspired by the gorgeous sketch, I used the Blue Fern Frame chipboard on my background as a mask to get an unique look.

I have also added some extra texture to my background by overlapping multiple stamp designs in different colors. After that, I have used some embellishments that matched with my theme (life´s little details) to decorate this page.

Once Upon a Sketch June Challenge

Hi everyone!

There´s a new challenge up at Once Upon a Sketch challenge blog and today team B has revealed its sample layouts.

It´s all about birthdays and using the sketch below.

We would like you to create a layout and interpret the theme "BIRTHDAYS" however you like based on the following sketch. You can journal as little or as much as you like, but your layout must incorporate this theme and the sketch below. Please make sure that we see some sort of journalling on your layouts and please tell us where your journalling is . Hidden journalling is perfectly fine.

BG Card Sketch

Basic Grey is challenging you to create a card inspired by the sketch and I couldn´t resist playing!

Wanna see my take? Here it goes:

 

It´s such an awesome sketch that I didn´t want to change much. I just turned it 90 degrees in order to create a vertical card that could match perfectly with the balloon and clouds images n my card and have added banners instead of stripes as sugested.

Once Upon a Sketch May Challenge

Hi everyone!

 Theme: Mum

We would like you to create a layout and interpret the theme "Mum" however you like based on the following sketch. You can journal as little or as much as you like, but your layout must incorporate this theme and the sketch.

Ideas for journalling: you as a mother, your role as a working/stay-at-home mum, sacrifices/benefits of being a mum, one day in your life as a mum, how your life has changed since being a mum, a tribute to your own mum, grandmother, guardian or someone you consider as close as your mum, your relationship with your mum or your daughter, one trait you have take from your mum, your desire to be a mum, your feelings on motherhood, what does it mean to be a mum?, what kind of mum do you want to be? , Mother's Day celebrations/traditions, your favourite Mother's Day gift given/receive etc..

Basic Grey sketch challenge

Hi all!

Happy Mother´s Day!

Now that you all had your time to take part on Basic Grey´s NSD Sketch Challenge that went live last Saturday, I can share with you the layout I did to exemplify it.

First, let me show you the sketch provided by Valerie Salmon:

 And my take, a layout using Plumeria collection by Basic Grey:

 

 

 

 

 To create my layout, I simply have chosen some BG Plumeria papers and embellishments and have adapted my photos and embellishments to the arrangements shown in the sketch, without including different interpretations than the one proposed.  It is such an awesome sketch that I didn´t want to change much! I hope this sketch inspire you as much as it did to me!
